HISTROY OF ESKİŞEHİR

The first settlement point of Eskişehir, which dates back to ancient times, is Şarhöyük (Dorylain) 6 km north of the main settlement. The city was named “Eskisehir” because of the ruins of the old settlement. According to the information obtained from the artifacts, it is understood that Eskisehir is a settlement area dates back the Neolithic era (BC 10,000 to 5,000 BC).
